Between 09:37 UTC and 11:28 UTC on September 6, Billing purchases and subscription processing experienced an unavailability window. 503 responses stopped at 09:44 UTC; blocked subscriptions were manually recovered from 11:08 UTC, and FunnelFox telemetry confirmed normal production health at 11:28 UTC.

The issue stemmed from PostgreSQL connection saturation, which caused Billing application processes to restart. We increased the database connection limit from 100 to 150, restarted the affected processes, and manually recovered blocked subscriptions.

Funnel and Dashboard operations were unaffected. No customer action is required. We are adding monitoring for Billing database-connection saturation and reviewing the missing 5xx alerting.
