Between Dec 7 01:00 UTC and 18:10 UTC, webhook event delivery experienced elevated delays. The maximum observed delay was 2 hours 10 minutes around 15:00 UTC.
The incident stemmed from a buildup of repeatedly failing webhook endpoints combined with Q5 alert-threshold adjustments. This combination suppressed our alerting during the reconfiguration window.
Notably, subscription events were unaffected and continued to be dispatched with no delay. These events are designed to be highly prioritized and resilient under load. If your integration still doesn’t use subscription events to manage customer access, we strongly recommend adopting them. They provide significantly faster and more reliable delivery, especially in scenarios where downstream endpoints may exhibit instability.
